Oregon coast drama

Last weekend I ventured down to Eugene, OR to visit my daughter Amber and help her get settled in her new little house. She's just starting grad school at the University of Oregon, with a full fellowship...way to go Amber! We spend the weekend on the coast, which went from dark, fast moving fog to glorious sun....rocky, wild waves to soft, windswept dunes

a nearby nursery with a wall of petunias....gorgeous!

the fog rolling in like a storm

the path to the ocean, the shadows looked like lace on the ground

Spouting Horn and Devil's Churn

the windswept dunes in Florence
rocky coastline and wild waves to rolling windswept dunes.

  1. Another lovely post, Jane! You and Amber look so cute and so relaxed. Love the foggy pics especially.

  2. Hello, Jane,
I am writing to let you know that I borrowed your photo of petunias--beautiful, with stunning color. I used it for a blog post yesterday, and I would love it if you have time to check it out at: http://darinhammondbyui.weebly.com/social-media-science-technology.html#.T-OZsStYvSA . Let me know if you would like it pulled, but I hoped that I would generate some traffic back here as compensation. I write, among other things, about my mother who died in 1996 of breast cancer. I hope you like it as I have enjoyed your photos.

Also, I am going to pin several to Pinterest if you are there--hopefully generate some more traffic here :-). Look me up.

    Thank you so much,

    Darin L. Hammond
