tiptoeing....

Yesterday, I visited my dear friend and amazing artist, Sharyn Sowell and we toured the tulips fields in the Skagit Valley near her home. The sun wasn't quite shining, but that only made for better photos. Everything around here is late this year, so the daffodil fields were still in bloom, an extra treat. We've have so much rain this spring, we literally had to tiptoe our way through the paths to avoid sinking into the mud puddles. Hope you enjoy this incredible display of nature......the colors are absolutely stunning!

  1. What a beautiful day! Awful weather but gorgeous flowers and a wonderful friend to share them with. So inspiring to be there with you...

  2. Oh Jane... if only I lived just a little closer I would love to have hung out with the two of you for the day!! I don't know Sharyn, but maybe I'll have to plan a day trip up your way sometime this summer... and we'll all have to get together for some creative fun!

    Blessings...
