a Mother's garden

For Mother's Day, my daughter Jenna, sister Teresa and niece Olivia treated my mom to a wonderful afternoon at the gorgeous Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. I've lived on the Kitsap Peninsula for over 20 years and have never been there. It was an absolutely perfect 75 degree day and...well...I'll just let my photos speak for themselves.....

  1. The deer photo is the very cream of the crop. Wow. Wow. Wow. Love that maidenhair, too, and the water photos- amazing. What a treat you had.

And next we are all whisked off to NYC. Wheee!

  4. That’s such a wonderful sight to see! Words are not enough to describe this beauty. It’s really a good place to treat your mother on that special day. It would be nice if you have the same scenery right at your own backyard, like a garden or something.
